World Championship Martial Arts competitors brought home 10 medals including four gold from the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) Kickboxing Canada National Championships held Friday to Sunday at the Scotia Centre in Niagara Falls.

Eleven-year-old Phoenix Walker won the gold medal in open hand kata earning his first national championship. He also claimed silver in weapons kata. he has been selected by WAKO Canada to participate in the WAKO World Junior Karate Championships in Italy in September.

Andrew Goode and Matt Goode both won gold medals in semi-contact points fighting.

Dominick DiFalco claimed the gold medal in low kick kickboxing.

Isaiah McIvor won silver in semi-contact points fighting and bronze in weapons kata.

Lilly Hill won a silver medal in K1 kickboxing while Carlie Adams won a bronze in K1 kickboxing. Brody Lawlor also earned a bronze in K1 kickboxing.
