ACB held Tonk ASI for taking bribe of Rs 10,000

Jaipur: ACB Tonk unit held Suresh Singh Chaudhary, Assistant SI, Police Station, Banetha, District Tonk, redhanded, taking bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant on Thursday. Director General of Anti-Corruption Dept Bhagwan Lal Saini said that the Tonk unit received the complaint. The complainant said that Chaudhary demanded the bribe money in lieu of not taking action in the case related to him. He had been harassing him for the bribe. Deputy Inspector General of Police, ACB, Ajmer Sameer Kumar Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police, Tonk Unit of ACB , Rajesh Arya, Police Inspector Narendra Singh verified the complaint and took action. Under the direction of Additional Director General ACB Dinesh MN, Chaudhary’s residence and other places were searched and an interrogation is on. The ACB has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act & further action will be taken.
